Ready to get designing? $20 gets you started, then submit your artwork. The details are below.

We are asking our members, you, to design letter-pressed gift tags to be sold at local, indie, craft fairs in the community. But it’s not just for us to show off our design skills. All proceeds from the tags will benefit Future Kind, a local organizatin, aiming to help improve the quality of education, and fundamental health infrastructure in our community with limited resources and, educate the world's youth about music, sustainability and the arts.

The Details. Create a 3.5"x2" holiday themed gift tag. Be sure to include the bylines "To:" and "From:". You are limited in color choice, red and gold, only. (red (PMS 185) and gold (PMS 871)) Colors can not blend and must be separated by layers. Please send your AI file, with outlined fonts and color separations to info@renotahoe.aiga.org. Your designs are due Saturday, November 10. No late artwork can be accepted.

Get your hands on some ink. Want to print your own tags? Everyone who submits a design is invited to join AIGA Reno/Tahoe on November 18 at the Black Rock Press to have a lesson in letterpress printing, holiday cocoa and chocolate chip cookies. Put on some Nat King Cole, or your secret N*SYNC holiday album, crank up the thermostat and start designing for the good of the season.

Entry Fee: $20 

Entry fee covers the cost of making polymeyer plates for printing, ink, paper and a set of 10 gift tags. Payment will be accepted through eventbrite, here. All unpaid submissions will not be printed.
