AIGA, the professional association for design, believes designers serve a critical role as communicators, educators and innovators. AIGA sets the national agenda for the role of design in economic, social, political, cultural and creative contexts. Our mission is to advance designing as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force.

Founded in 1914, AIGA remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design with over 66 chapters and 22,000 members and is a nonprofit, 501©(3) educational institution.

Trademark Basics
